Really cool experiment here.  Using regular shortwave radio to induce plasma — which then literally melts steel instantaneously .

If you watch the video in HD.. and pause it when the flares begin.. you will see the plasma come off in whisps of energy.. and several of the tips give off almost what look to be small lightning bolts of pinkish plasma.

Conclave to elect new pope begins Tuesday

Preparations, both spiritual and practical, neared completion at the Vatican on Monday, where Roman Catholic cardinals will gather to begin the process of selecting the next pope.

The conclave — the secret papal election — begins Tuesday in the Sistine Chapel, which has been closed to the public while Vatican staff readied the ornately decorated vestry for deliberations.

The first public signs of preparations appeared over the weekend as workmen scaled the roof of the chapel on Saturday to install the chimney which will release the black or white smoke that signifies whether a new pope has been elected.

Run for Parkinson 2013

El 11 de abril se conmemora el Día Mundial de la Enfermedad de Parkinson. Por esto durante este mismo mes se llevará a cabo la iniciativa global “RUN FOR PARKINSON”.

Se realizará en Veracruz, Puebla, Monterrey y el 7 de abril en el Distrito Federal.

Te invitamos a correr por una causa y a sumarte a favor de la cura del Parkinson.

“RUN FOR PARKINSON” es un gran esfuerzo para cambiar la imagen del Parkinson ante la sociedad. Para solidarizarte con las personas que padecemos ésta enfermedad (5 millones alrededor del mundo, más de 500 000 en México). Asimismo, deseamos promover su detección oportuna y tratamiento adecuado.

Este 7 de abril corre y apoya a los enfermos de Parkinson. Apoya para que logremos llevar una vida activa y autónoma. Ayúdanos a cambiarle la persepción que tiene la gente del Parkinson.
